What makes the HG Containment System better than other amalgam separators?

Today, regulation demands only a 95% capture rate for amalgam separators, yet with the escalating concern over Mercury, regulatory measures could increase tomorrow. Being the only containment system to capture 100% of amalgams released from the dental office, the HG Containment System is your assurance in regard to current and future compliance. It makes sense (and cents) to apply the most practical solution available, so if the demand increases… you’re covered.

Safety is paramount when it comes to choosing a containment system. Units that use filters create a safety dilemma for the dental staff. The HG Containment System is a filter free system, as such; your staff is safeguarded from amalgam-contaminated fluid because they never come in contact with the waste.

Environmentally friendly is more than just a catch phrase … it tells the client that you care. By employing the HG Containment System, your dental facility can boast (and market) that you are an environmentally friendly practice using choice industry protocol in containing and recycling amalgam waste. As result, your client is assured that you will take the same measures to ensure their good care.

Does the HG Containment System meet compliance standards set forth by state mandates?

Yes. The regulatory climate surrounding the dental community pertaining to the capture and disposal of Mercury and amalgams is ever changing; however, the HG Containment System not only meets but exceeds standards. In capturing 100% of these agents produced by your office, the HG Containment System will meet future mandates for years to come. You can’t do better than 100%.

Is the HG Containment System ISO11143 certified?

The ISO11143 was developed for filtration systems that still allow amalgams to be released into the environment. The HG Containment System boasts 100% containment; therefore, the ISO11143 certification does not apply.

Will the HG Containment System operate with my current vacuum system?
